Shared Ownership

Open the door to owning your home

If you can’t quite afford the mortgage on 100% of a home, Shared Ownership offers you the chance to buy a share of your own home (between 25% and 75% of the property value) and pay rent on the remaining share. You can then look to buy a bigger share later on. Once again there are the usual eligibility criteria you would be required to meet and certain mortgage lenders who will offer a mortgage on a shared ownership basis – we’ll walk you through the scheme and help open the door to owning your own home.
